A Tux for Every Groom

Now girls, we all want our man to look good at the wedding. No woman wants a penguin standing at the end of the aisle waiting for her. If you want your man to look good in a tuxedo, you need to have a great tuxedo. Pick something that works well for his body type AND his style. Here are some quick tips for you.

Brown Single Breasted Tuxedo

The first step is to identify what type of body type your man has. If he is on the heavier side but not very tall, plan on getting a single-breasted tuxedo, and make sure it isn’t fit too tight. Men are all about comfort, if the tuxedo does not fit correctly he will not want to wear it. If he has have a lean frame, but not much height, choosing a tuxedo set with a low-button stance is your best choice. Is he lean and tall? If so, you’re in luck: just about any tuxedo will look great on him.

If you want to go trendy, pick a coat with four, five or six buttons that doesn’t show much of the vest when buttoned. The vest can have a bright color or wild pattern.  Choose baggier pants, with maybe a black and white capped toe shoe. Most are used to tuxedos being only black, but with the new year here we can see that gray and brown tuxedos are the new thing.

The Classic Black and White Tuxedo

If you want to go traditional, pick a notch or peak lapel tuxedo coat with a subdued colored vest, or even a white cummerbund. The traditional black bow tie and side stripe pants.
