Common Mistakes When Sending Wedding Invitations

Planning a wedding is stressful, and when things don't go as planned it only adds to a couples stress. Invitations are one of those things that can bring a wedding to a stop. Knowing how to prevent the problem is just as important as fixing problems as they arise. Here are a few tips that will help you cut down on stress while ordering you invitations.

Tip one: Order your invitations early! Couples can be so concerned about the small details of the wedding and set the invites for last. You want to mail your invitations six to eight weeks before your wedding date. This means you have to order them four months ahead of time. And if for some reason you have to send them back to get corrected it still gives you a open space to do that.

Tip two: Assemble one invitation and bring it to the the post office to get weighed, that way you will know how much postage you will need.

Tip three: To prevent not having enough envelopes, always order two extra envelopes for every ten invitations. This allows for any mistakes you may make while addressing them.
