Weddings are expense we all know this tiny little fact to be
true. But what most don’t realize is if you are strict with your budget and
don’t bend you will be able to get your big wedding on a little budget. If you
don’t break these few simple rules you will get what you desire.
Leave the little things alone, special touches like
save-the-date notices, ceremony programs, guest favors, bathroom baskets, and
monogrammed cocktail napkins, forget it.
Yes they add a personal style to your wedding, but will likely go
unnoticed if they're skipped. One-time use items, such as special
toasting flutes or a cake knife and server, you will never use these again. So
don’t bother to waste your money on one time uses. The caterer or venue
will provide these at no extra cost.
Two things you can cut down when it comes to your
bridesmaids. First, give them the idea of what color you want them to wear.
This gives them free range to find matching dresses at stores they
prefer or maybe they have in their closet. Second, you don t need
to give them a whole bouquet of flowers. Give each one her own flower with a
bow tied on it. It will save you a lot of money on the florist bill.
Buy some things used. There are many brides who buy
everything they need for their wedding then afterwards unload when they start
to realize that they don’t need all this junk. Wedding attire can often be
rented or purchased from specialty consignment shops. Don’t be a snob to ideas
they are only there to help you.
